Our Process

The first step in my process is to receive your custom wig or hair inquiry. Contact me today for your free quote! After the initial contact, I will reach out to find more information about your desired piece. Additional details like pictures, color, length, style, texture, and what your planned use of the wig will be helpful in this process.

Once I have a good idea for your custom project, I will provide a couple of options with varying prices. Each wig and hair piece will be customized to your particular specifications.

After you confirm that your custom wig from ConHair Wigs, I will send an invoice for a deposit. I ask 25% or $50 for a deposit, which ever is greater. I am currently using PayPal for all of my invoicing. You will also receive a PDF of head measurements. You can find more information on the wig measurements here. Additionally, I ask for photos of your hairline (preferably with your hair in a wig prep); front, both sides, and back. This combined information helps me sculpt a replica of your head. You can also send me a head tracing (I’m currently working on a head tracing tutorial).

I like to keep an open line of communication and will send you updates on the progress of your wig throughout the creation process. Once the wig is complete, I will send you photos to confirm the style and look of the wig. Along the way and at this point you can make changes (within reason). Once you give your final consent, I will send you a final invoice for the remaining balance. After the invoice has been paid, your wig will be sent in the mail. You have 7 days after the arrival of your wig to notify us of any issues you may encounter.  

I use USPS Priority Mail within the continental US. International shipping will be evaluated at the time of your purchase.

Receiving your wig is not the end of our relationship, but just the beginning. Advice is given freely at any point, even 5 years down the road.
